Slipper lobster is a flat-bodied crustacean caught as part of the trawl fishery along the Sarawak shelf. The tail meat is dense and slightly sweeter than spiny lobster, and it is popular grilled with garlic butter or used in seafood platters. Supplied whole or as tail-only grades depending on the buyer's kitchen format.
