A Kuching seafood house built on repeat buyers
Hua Hua Sea Products began as a small trading operation on the Kuching waterfront, buying from local boats and selling to wholesalers in the town. The work has always been the same: be at the jetty early, know the fish, and pay fairly so the good catch comes to you first.
As buyers overseas started asking for Sarawak seafood, we grew into processing and export. Today we supply importers, distributors, wholesalers, hotel and restaurant groups and processing plants, shipping frozen and dried products in reefer containers and consolidated cargo.
We are still a family-run trading house, and we prefer it that way. Buyers deal with people who have seen the product, not a call centre. If a grade is not right or a landing is short, we say so before the order is confirmed rather than after the container is on the water.
Say what is in the box
Grades, net weights, glazing percentage and species names are stated honestly on every offer and every label. If we cannot meet a specification, we tell you before you commit.
Keep the chain cold
From the jetty to the container door, product stays cold. Freezing starts early, storage is monitored, and loading is planned so the goods spend as little time as possible out of temperature.
Build long-term supply
Most of our volume goes to buyers who reorder season after season. We would rather ship a smaller quantity you can rely on than overpromise a volume the fishing grounds cannot support.
