Baby octopus is taken as part of the inshore mixed catch and cleaned by hand before freezing. It is a popular item for Korean and Japanese buyers, as well as for local barbecue and salad service. Graded by pieces per kilo, gutted with beak and eyes removed unless the buyer asks for whole round.
